The Star of Bethlehem is part of every telling of the Christmas story. What was this Star and what was so remarkable that the wise men undertook the long journey across the desert from Babylon to Bethlehem? What sign did they see that made them expect the birth of a king?

The Appold Planetarium’s holiday show The Mystery of the Christmas Star investigates possible dates for the birth of Christ and looks at recorded sightings of significant astronomical events during the time frame. This modern telling of the Christmas story is sure to charm and captivate audiences of all ages.
