Gust Flower and Produce Farm now open for the 2021 summer season
(see the farm in Springtime)

Sylvania's favorite just-over-the-border family farm, The Gust Brothers Farm, has made some big changes this season with the Sunflower Trail, "You-Cut" flowers, and more.

The size of the "You-cut" flower area has been increased to over 4.5 acres.   The cutting area has over 60 varieties of different flowers to choose from to make that perfect flower bouquet.

The cost is only $9 per mason jar to cut your own flowers.  A jar admits up to 4 people into the picking field, and everything is provided:  the mason jar, water, and scissors.

The sunflower trail has lots of great improvements this year.  It’s a 5-acre sunflower maze which includes an antique truck and tractor, rustic swing, and has some great photo opportunities. The trail is great for senior pictures, family pictures, or just to take a stroll and surround yourself with flowers. The sunflower trail has a separate cost of $5 per person (2 and under is free).

As of Tuesday July 20, the farm is offering sweet corn, eggplant, onions, cucumbers, zucchini, beets, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, and more.  Veggie prices are reasonable and the you-pick cost is $9 per peck box.

The flower farm is located at 11998 Rodesiler Highway Ottawa Lake, MI 49267. It is 1/4 mile east of the pumpkin farm.

  • Hours are 10 am to 8 pm daily until Labor Day.

  • Please plan accordingly for the weather.  Due to the rainy weather lately, the fields are still a bit muddy. If coming in the evening, you may want to bring some mosquito repellent.
