Congratulations to the Spring 2021 COBAL Visionary Leadership Scholarship recipients:

·        Emiliana Taylor of Granger, IN is a senior Accounting major and a member of the Gray Wolves Lacrosse team. Last summer, she completed an accounting internship with Crowe LLC in South Bend, IN.  Ms. Taylor has been accepted into the Master of Business Administration program. Taylor wrote in her essay “The definition of ‘Where business is taught as a noble profession’ that I have learned from all these experiences is to respect yourself and others in everything that you do because of a high morality and ethics that Lourdes University College of Business & Leadership has taught, stemming from the professors themselves. Just as they have learned and applied it to their teaching, I too have learned and plan to use what I have learned in my career.” Ms. Taylor plans to work as an Accountant, and says Lourdes University College of Business and Leadership allows students to achieve at a higher level.

·        Andris Klempert of Hamburg, Germany, is a sophomore Business Administration major and a member of the Gray Wolves Soccer team. Last summer he completed a business internship at ASR Group in Baltimore, MD. In his essay, Klempert said Lourdes has made teaching Business in an ethical way its mission so students will go on to represent business as a noble profession. “In my opinion a noble profession is serving an ethical agenda and helping to build a future for the society in a sustainable, tolerant way; bringing together people of all kind(s),” wrote Klempert.

“God has given us the ability to work – we do this with all our might. As our Visionary Leadership Scholars put their heart and soul into everything they do, they also focus on blessing those they work with. I am proud and excited to work in the College of Business and Leadership with our Visionary Leadership Scholarship recipients. I am looking forward to what this year brings as they continue to grow, by God’s grace, in favor with God and man as Noble Business Professionals.”
