Sylvania Franciscan Village
"Seekers of Justice," a World Cafe conversation honoring Dr. Martin Luther King

The Sylvania Franciscan Village is pleased to host “Seekers of Justice,” a World Café conversation, in honor of the life and legacy of The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on Tuesday, Jan. 21, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Franciscan Center, 6832 Convent Blvd., in Sylvania.

New Sylvania book benefits Sylvania Firefighters, supporting their charitable efforts.

All are invited as we reflect on Dr. King’s dream of unity and participate in the generative power of dialogue as we discuss racial, economic and environmental justice in today’s world. Randall Parker III, pastor of Canaan Manifested Word Church, will share his insight on what it means to be a seeker of justice, followed by small group conversations where we discover shared meaning, access collective intelligence, and evolve the future towards a more just society for all people.

This free event is open to the public, and refreshments will be served. For more information, contact Sophia Lloyd at or 419-824-3533.
