Join the Sylvania Community Orchestra for an afternoon of live instrumental music.


Be part  of the experience as we delve into Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 in C Minor with local  piano prodigy, Henry Shao. Travel with us through Sibelius' Finlandia and get into the spirit  of the winter season with Leroy Anderson's iconic Sleigh so much more. This is a  FREE event. Donations are welcomed at the door to support the Sylvania Community  Orchestra’s work in our community.

About the Sylvania Community Orchestra 

The Sylvania Community Orchestra is one of many successful programs of the Sylvania Arts  Commission. The Sylvania Community Orchestra is a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization  dedicated to creating accessible musical experiences in the greater Toledo area. Through  free performances, partnerships with youth orchestras, and multi-generational rehearsals, we  strive to enrich the cultural life of our community and foster a lifetime of musical creativity for  instrumentalists of all ages and levels of expertise. 

About Sylvania Arts 

Sylvania Arts is a non-profit organization directed by a volunteer Board of Trustees and an  executive director. Our programs are funded in part by the City of Sylvania, Sylvania  Township, the Ohio Arts Council, and private donations.
