Sister Gretchen's Bake Sale is November 22 & 23, 2019
25th season of holiday baked goods

This holiday season, Sister Gretchen and the Sisters of St. Francis of Sylvania will offer a bounty of holiday baked goods for the 25th year.
Friday, November 22, 9:30 a.m.— 5 p.m.
Saturday, November 23, 9:30 a.m.— noon

Since its inception in 1994, Sister Gretchen’s Bake Sale has become a greatly anticipated event. Patrons have come to expect a vast array of homemade pies, cakes, bread, cookies, jams, jellies and candies – and they won’t be disappointed. The craft portion of the sale will feature items from All Good Things, the Franciscan art and gift store, and will include original artwork, prints, jewelry and more.

All the items featured at the sale reflect the gifts and talents of the Sisters and the countless Associates, friends and volunteers who produce them. The nature of the bake sale stems from the Franciscan spirit of generosity and the desire to share with those around them. All proceeds from the two-day sale will go to support the ministries of the Sisters of St. Francis – both locally and abroad

These renowned bake sales always include Sister Gretchen’s famous Polish coffee cake, a variety of nut breads, cakes, pies, fruitcakes, jams and jellies, assorted cookies, Heavenly Hash, pretzels, and a variety of sugar and gluten free items.

The bake sale will be held in the Regina Hall Conference Room, 6832 Convent Boulevard, Sylvania.  Regina Hall is located behind Queen of Peace Chapel back in the northeast corner of the campus.

Attendees can use the Franciscan Center entrance on Convent Boulevard, just follow the bake sale signs back past the little chapel (Portiuncula), over the bridge, and to the Queen of Peace Chapel.  You will find available parking in the lot next to the chapel, and also in the circle drive in front. Enter through the double glass doors where the All Good Things Gift Shop is also located.

Funds raised support the ministries of the Franciscan Sisters.

Sister Gretchen Faerber has been sharing her award-winning pies and baked goods with the community for decades.
